International Studies Program OverviewThe Department of Government, Legal Studies, and Philosophy coordinates interdisciplinary major and minor programs in International Studies en route to a Bachelor's degree. These programs offer students a strong foundation in the social sciences in preparation for a wide range of exciting career paths. Students develop a solid grounding in relevant history, political science, sociology, geography, philosophy, and foreign language coursework. The degree program also allows students to efficiently incorporate a minor of their choice into their undergraduate studies, engage in study abroad, and focus on a geographic region or global issue, so that students are able to better prepare themselves to pursue their vocational goals.
