Get Library Help

As you start an assignment, I highly recommend reaching out to the library for assistance at the beginning of your project.  Myself and other library staff can assist you in identifying what type of resources you need and help teach you how to utilize the resources effectively.  My contact information is on the right side of this page.  Feel free to call, email, or book an appointment with me to discuss your assignment!  You can also reach out to the library during operating hours for assistance and book a librarian for one-on-one assistance. You can reach library staff in person, by phone, email, or via the live chat widget built into this page.

Services and Resources

The Rickett Library is located on the first floor of the FW CAB in Rm 131 right across from the Cowtown Cafe.

In the Rickett Library, patrons can receive individual library research guidance, schedule one-on-one library help sessions, and find a quieter study area. To supplement Tarleton Libraries’ robust online book and periodical offerings, Rickett Library provides print materials that have been selected specifically to support students’ academic needs in Fort Worth. In addition, library materials can be requested for delivery to the Rickett Library from Tarleton’s Dick Smith Library on the Stephenville campus.

The library offers 10 student-use computer workstations, eight individual study loungers/pods, and comfortable seating areas. Five study rooms, which can seat up to 6 people, are available on a first come, first served basis. The Tutoring and Learning Center offers tutoring for Writing, Accounting, and Spanish within the library. Students also have access to a KIC scanner and both black & white and color printers.

Library instruction sessions are available at Rickett Library for day, evening, or weekend classes. Instruction sessions are also available for hybrid and online courses. For more information see Research and Learning.
