Tarleton State University has an active queer community and there are many resources and social opportunities for LGBTQ+ identifying students and allies.

Gay-Straight Alliance The Tarleton Gay-Straight Alliance serves to support the LGBTQUIAS (Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender/transsexual, Questioning/Queer, Undecided, Intersex, Asexual, and Straight) students & allies within the community in providing a safe, supportive, fun and active space.

Through advocacy, training, and affirmation, we support underrepresented populations on campus and provide services to our international students from over 28 countries.
SafeZone @ Tarleton Safe Zone training offers participants the opportunity to learn the basics about LGBTQ+ identities, and engage in reflection and critical thought about how to support LGBTQ+ community members.
