How to Use this Guide

Home Page

Here on the Home Page you will find information about the next session for our Adulting 101 events.  Below you can find links to the library's social media accounts to learn more about our services and other programs.  Use the tabs to the left to navigate through the different topics covered in our sessions.  Below that you will find contact information for some of our librarians at the university.  Feel free to contact us with any questions you have about the programs or if you ever need assistance finding resources.

Topic Pages

Our LibGuide for Adulting 101 is broken down by the topics to be covered in each session.  The side menu to the left can be used to navigate through the resources for each topic.  On the main page for each of these topics, you'll find an introduction that provides a brief overview of the subject.  Video Presentations from our sessions will be uploaded here following the event for you to review or check out if you were unable to attend in person.  These will also include any useful downloadable resources shared during sessions.

Library Resources

On our Library Resources pages you will find suggested items accessible through the library.  Under LCC # there is a breakdown of the sections where you can find books from related subjects in the library based on the Library of Congress Classification number.  This will give you general ranges of call numbers to look for when browsing the collection.  The Books from the Library box will include a selection of suggested titles about the topic.  Recommended databases are also located here along with suggested Keyword Search Terms for locating more information.

Community Resources

The Community Resources tabs are a place to find resources from outside of the library.  This will include helpful resources or organizations on campus, as well as local resources from the surrounding community.  You will also be able to find suggested resources from across the web in this section.
